Stroke & Aphasia

A stroke can affect the ability to speak, understand language, read, and/or write, without affecting intelligence. Therapy uses evidence-based methods like the Life Participation Approach to Aphasia, and also addresses dysarthria and apraxia when they occur after a stroke. Family members are welcome throughout the process.
