Mariya Kika is a Toronto-based speech-language pathologist who provides virtual speech therapy across Ontario, with particular focus in Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and neurorehabilitation after stroke or brain injury.

Mariya completed her Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Toronto, building on her background in neurolinguistics and cognitive science. She understands that speech is one cog in the whole of the brain and provides a holistic approach to speech therapy. She has extensive experience in adult neurorehabilitation & telemedicine.

She holds unique experience having worked in a specialized return-to-work program following neurological injuries. She brings this functional and reality-oriented experience to each and every client, ensuring sustainable support in achieving their goals.

She is committed to creating a safe,  welcoming, and inclusive space where individuals can feel heard, seen, and empowered in their communicative journeys.
